Planning for sessions and activities designed to enhance the young professional’s experience at AIHce is underway. Students and IHs in the early stages of their careers are encouraged to participate in as many events as possible. Watch for details on these programs and more!

Call for Abstracts – 21st Annual Student Poster Session

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit abstracts for the Student Poster Session scheduled Wednesday, May 18. The submission deadline is March 21. Abstracts will be reviewed by an academic panel; selection is limited to the 55 best papers received. Authors of selected papers will be notified by mid-April.

Looking to score your dream job in OEHS? The Development Fair will equip you with the tools you’ll need to navigate your career path. Get helpful information on issues that matter to you - job searching in today’s unstable economy, using social networking sites in your job search, writing an eye-catching resume, and more. Sign up for a personal mock interviewing session and have your resume critiqued by a hiring manager.

Student Local Sections Council Business Meeting

Meet other student local section officers and share best practices. Anyone interested in creating a student local section is invited to attend.

Students and Early Career Professionals Committee Meeting

Interact with members of the SECP committee. Discuss current and new projects focused on developing outreach materials and mentoring students and early career industrial hygienists. New volunteers, including students, are encouraged to attend.

Volunteer Collaboration Café

Need a place to relax for a few minutes or to meet-up with peers? Visit the Collaboration Café – a multipurpose area where you can rest, network with colleagues, and attend free special events.

AIHA Volunteer Group Meetings

These are not closed door meetings! Unless otherwise noted, volunteer group meetings are open to everyone. More than 40 volunteer groups meet to discuss a variety of technical and non-technical topics including many that address student needs.
