Call for Professional Development Course
(PDC) Monitors
The AIHce 2010 "Call for Monitors” deadline, of February 11, 2011, has now
passed and all monitor assignments have been made based on work status, with
priority given to students and the unemployed, on a first-come, first-served
basis.
Individuals still interested in monitoring may attend
the monitor orientation meeting on site in Portland and
potentially replace any assigned monitor no-shows.
However, we cannot guarantee any onsite monitor course
assignments.
Monitors
- must be active AIHA® or ACGIH®
members
- may monitor only one PDC
- are not guaranteed an assignment or specific PDC
choice
- must attend a monitor orientation meeting at the
Colorado Convention Center on the day of their PDC.
These meetings will be held
- Saturday, May 14, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 a.m.
- Sunday, May 15, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 a.m.
Assigned monitors who are not present at 7am
for their orientation meeting will forfeit their PDC
monitoring position and be required to register and pay
if they choose to attend a PDC.
Monitors will receive the same materials as other
participants and earn CM, CEU, and COC points.
Registration fees for the PDC a monitor is assigned to
will be waived.
In the event you are not assigned a PDC to monitor,
you may attend the monitor orientation meetings in
Denver and potentially replace any assigned monitor
no-shows. AIHce cannot guarantee any on-site monitor
course assignments.
AIHce reserves the right to cancel a PDC due to low
enrollment and instructor schedule conflicts. Decisions
regarding cancellations will be made by April 1, 2010.
If a PDC is canceled, AIHce cannot guarantee another
monitoring assignment.
