General Information
Registration and hotel reservations
PDC instructors should register and reserve hotel accommodations online or complete the
Advance Registration and Hotel Reservation Form. The advance registration deadline is
April 27, 2011. Instructors who register by this deadline will receive badges in advance by mail. Instructors should not register for the PDC(s) they are teaching. Those instructors who wish to attend the AIHce on Monday through Thursday are required to pay the applicable registration fee or the one-day fee.
If you are not attending AIHce, but would like to reserve a hotel room contact

All presenters, arrangers, moderators and monitors
are required to pay the applicable full or one-day
registration fee.
Speaker Ready Room
Instructors are invited to use the Speaker Ready Room, which will be equipped with editing stations, audiovisual (AV) technicians, and AIHA’s education team.

- Saturday, May 14, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Sunday, May 15, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Monday, May 16, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 17, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 18, 7:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
- Thursday, May 19, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Hardware/software
AIHce recommends PowerPoint (PPT) for all presenters. Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and HTML files may also be used.
Presenters are required to use the computers provided on-site by AIHce. AIHce-supplied computers in the meeting rooms are Windows-based PCs equipped with Microsoft PowerPoint (Office XP) and the latest versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader, Windows Media Player, and Quick Time for Windows. Other presentation programs will not be available.
Internet access is not provided in session rooms.
PowerPoint 4.x, 98/2001, and 10 files created on a Macintosh computer will open successfully on a PC/AIHce-supplied computer.
Technical session recordings
Synchronized recordings of technical session presentations and audio will be made available for download after AIHce, provided that presenter’s permissions have been received. Technical session presenters who do not grant permission to record their presentation will be edited out of the recordings. No personal recording is permitted.
